The Princess Code Organization was founded in 2017 in Navasota ISD by Educator, Marsita Jordan. As an 8th Grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher, Jordan saw the need for a transitional and developmental program for 8th grade girls. As adolescent girls struggle with identity during this time, Jordan felt that it was essential to provide positive outlets and avenues for these young ladies to thrive. She birthed The Princess Code as a Code of Conduct for these girls to follow, practice and model to be successful in all levels, and aspects of womanhood and life. To enlighten, educate, encourage and edify young ladies from every background to be an influence and impact on their community and the world.
The Princess Code Pledge
The Princess Code Pledge was drafted with the idea of inclusion of ALL girls by being established on the affirmation of self-efficacy and self-appreciation for who you are, and doing your best. It is a reminder that you do not have to be perfect to be a Princess, but you do have to be willing to engage in empowerment and self-improvement.
